Rental starts from ₹2,000 per month for an oxygen cylinder, ₹2,500 for a semi-fowler hospital bed, ₹3,000 for a CPAP or BiPAP machine and ₹3,500 for a 5 litre oxygen concentrator. The final cost depends on the model, rental period, delivery location and accessories.
Most items on this page are available on both rent and sale. Beds, oxygen concentrators, BiPAP machines and wheelchairs are commonly rented monthly; masks, tubing and other consumables are sale items.
A refundable security deposit may apply to rental equipment. The amount depends on the product and is confirmed before dispatch.
It depends on the flow rate advised by the treating doctor. A 5 L unit suits most home oxygen therapy; 10 L is used when a higher continuous flow is prescribed. See the oxygen concentrator page for model-wise details.
CPAP delivers one constant pressure and is generally used for obstructive sleep apnoea. BiPAP delivers separate inhale and exhale pressures and is used when a doctor advises it, often in COPD or respiratory failure. Use the machine and settings prescribed for the patient.
Share the doctor's prescription or advice so the correct device, flow rate and pressure settings are supplied. This also helps confirm accessories such as mask size.
Short-duration rental may be possible depending on the product and current rental terms. Ask the team for the applicable 15-day or monthly package.
For indoor use and short trips, a folding manual wheelchair is usually enough. Consider seat width, patient weight, doorway width and whether an attendant will push the chair.
Electric beds need one socket near the head end and an oxygen concentrator needs its own dedicated socket, since it runs continuously. Measure the doorway, staircase and lift before confirming delivery, and plan an inverter or backup cylinder for power cuts. The full checklist is in how to set up a patient room at home.
Basic installation and operating guidance can be arranged at the delivery location for beds, oxygen and breathing equipment. Discuss stairs, lift size and doorway width in advance.
